This sewing class is designed for beginners with little to no sewing back ground. If you are wanting to learn things like custom pattern drafting, altering patterns or difficult sewing projects, this is not the class. for you There will be no grades or certificate in this class, just knowledge that will allow you to walk away with the basic understanding of sewing.

There will be a total of 8 classes in the course and classes will have a run time of 3 hours. Each class will have a set outline for the day so if one class is missed then you miss out on that days lesson. Over the course of the classes you will be given hand outs and asked to sew samples. None of them will be marked but it is for your benefit to do them so you can build a reference binder for you to refer to later on. There will be a few small sewing projects, before moving onto a commercial pattern. For the final sewing project you will get to pick a simple outfit that I will custom draft the pattern for you.
